Trying Twitter Commenters 2.1

Today Mark Carey released an update to Twitter Commenters, so I figured I would try it out finally. I would much rather use the OAuth method, so people do not submit their authentication on our site, but on twitter.com, so I am glad I waited on installing this plugin.

However things have not gone great. I had to upgrade libwww-perl on the server, and was not able to get either method to work. For Basic Auth I get this error: Could not verify the Twitter account specified. For OAuth I get this error: Can't call method "permalink" on an undefined value.

So I have emailed Mark, and hope he has some answers.
